Kelly Schaffnit

Kelly grew up in Illinois and began flying after graduating from Taylor University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She moved to Colorado to finish flight training, and enjoys being around the mountains, both in the air and on the ground. As a flight instructor, she loves celebrating her students’ successes, especially by bringing homemade cheesecake to the airport after checkrides. Outside of flying, Kelly spends her free time backpacking, going to the symphony, and knitting.
