What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, but we fly and give lessons 7 days a week, sun up to sun down, and evening flights.

Do you offer scenic flights or tours?
​Yes! Enjoy breathtaking flights over the Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, or Book Cliffs. These flights are a great gift or introductory aviation experience.
What kind of flight training do you offer?
We specialize in Part 61 training for Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, and CFII certificates. Our approach is flexible, personalized, and student-centered.
What’s the difference between Part 61 and Part 141 training?
Part 61 offers more scheduling flexibility and is ideal for self-paced learners. While we operate under Part 61, our structure and professionalism rival larger 141 academies.
How much does flight training cost?
Costs vary based on certificate, flight hours, and aircraft choice. We offer transparent pricing during your free consultation. Financing options and VA benefits may also apply.
How long does it take to become a pilot?
It depends on your availability. Our program is tailored around your scheduling availability. On Average, a Private Pilot Certificate typically takes 3–6 months with consistent flying. Career-track students can progress to Commercial within 12–18 months.
What’s a discovery flight?
A discovery flight is your first step into aviation. You'll take the controls with a certified instructor and get a taste of what it’s like to be a pilot. No experience required!
Can I bring a guest on a scenic or discovery flight?
Yes—guests are welcome on most of our aircraft, subject to weight limits and aircraft configuration.
Can I rent an aircraft after getting my license?
Absolutely. Student's working on a current license or rating can rent our aircraft to build time, and pilots who have completed their training are welcome to rent our aircraft for currency/proficiency flying, as well as recreation. (Our insurance requires we provide a safety pilot for non-student renters.)
Do I need renters insurance?
Our fleet and school policy covers all renters and students, so no additional insurance is needed, saving you money and hassle.
Do you offer Part 107 drone license training?
Yes! We provide structured, instructor-led courses to help you pass the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Test and understand real-world drone operations.
Who should take the drone course?
Anyone flying drones for commercial purposes (real estate, inspections, media, etc.) needs this certification. It’s ideal for professionals and hobbyists alike.
How long does it take to become a pilot?

How long is the course and what does it cover?
The course runs 3-4 hours, depending on the student, and covers FAA regulations, airspace, weather, chart reading, and operational safety—everything needed to pass the Part 107 exam.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash. Prepaid options are available with bonus incentives to help cover the cost.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule flights. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee to compensate instructors.
