      Cessna Aircraft CompanyIn keeping with our commitment to provide modern, well-maintained aircraft for rental and instruction, Colorado Flight Center operates a fleet of six Cessna single-engine aircraft. We have one Skycatcher (162) for primary training, three Skyhawks (172s) for primary and instrument training, a Cutlass (172RG) for complex training, and one high-performance single-engine aircraft, a Skylane (182T), for advanced training and rental. All aircraft are equipped with panel-mounted IFR GPS receivers and most are equipped with autopilots. All of our airplanes are available for short- and long-term rental.

      We also operate a turbo-charged Piper Seminole for twin-engine training and for cross-country rentals.  This aircraft is capably-equipped with multiple GPS systems, autopilot, traffic avoidance, data-link weather, and an oxygen system.

      All aircraft rental terms and provisions are specified in our Operations Manual.

      For instrument training, we use an Elite Systems PI-135 aircraft training device (a PC-based flight simulator) for quick and inexpensive ($35/hr) primary or recurrent instrument training. We have been authorized by the FAA to use this simulator for training and logging of simulated instrument time and approaches for instrument currency and for a portion of the time required for a private pilot certificate and for an instrument rating.

      Fuel Surcharges:

      In this uncertain world, we have chosen to implement a fuel surcharge, rather than permanently increasing our rental prices, in hopes that fuel prices will return to recent levels.  As of November 16th, we have in effect the following fuel surcharge:  $5/hr for the 172s, $6/hr for the 182, and $10/hr for the Seminole.
